Makarska and Biokovo
Makarska is a city of extraordinary beauty situated 25 km from the Apartments Bosiljka and provides an excellent opportunity for a one day trip and enjoyment of this tourist paradise. The town was developed around a natural breathtaking harbour, above the city is the mountain slope and the natural park bearing the same name. Makarska has recognizable pebble beaches where you can find many restaurants, famous for culinary specialities. It has a beautiful long promenade which is worth a walk and the old town which has many narrow streets typical for the Dalmatian cities.

Makarska is the largest city of the Makarska Riviera, and thus for ages its very centre. If you want to know the history of the city, visit the Franciscan monastery, on its premises it keeps a picture gallery, a library, a Malacological museum, and the Institute of mountains and the sea. Kačićev square is overwhelming at first glance, the church of St. Marka, and the views of the majestic mountain slope. On the coast is the town museum and the church of St. Filip. Makarska Riviera offers several interesting places to visit, and in addition Makarska Riviera is the starting point for the many paths that lead to the mountain slope.
