The impressive remains of the Roman city of Salona are located 39 km from Medici, near Split. It is believed that the city was built in the 4th century BC. Left are the remains of areas for bath furnaces and locker rooms, peristyle baths, as well as early Christian buildings next to the basilica. In the southern part of the remains are a forum, temples and theatres of the first century.
